1. Introduction

Routeworks LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) develops and operates the Math Dragons mobile application (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, especially children.

This policy applies to the Math Dragons app available on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information.

The App stores the following data locally on your device to provide the game experience:

  • Player profile information (dragon name chosen by the user)
  • Game statistics (scores, play time, facts mastered)
  • Math fact progress records
  • App settings and preferences

This data is stored entirely on your device using local storage. It is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. The App does not require an internet connection to function.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

To be explicit, the App does not collect:

  • Names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers
  • Location data
  • Device identifiers or advertising IDs
  • Usage analytics or telemetry
  • Crash reports
  • Photos, contacts, or any other device data

The App contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no crash reporting tools. The only third-party service is RevenueCat for managing in-app purchases, which receives only anonymous purchase data (see Section 10).

4. How We Use Information

The locally stored data described in Section 2 is used solely to:

  • Track math fact mastery and personalize practice sessions
  • Display game progress and statistics to the player
  • Save user preferences and settings
  • Maintain the dragon-raising game experience

This data never leaves the device and is not used for any other purpose.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties. Since no data is collected from your device, there is no data to share, sell, or transfer to any third party for any purpose.

6. Children's Privacy

Math Dragons is designed for children ages 5–12. We take children's privacy very seriously.

The App complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regarding children's data.

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).
  • The App does not require or encourage children to provide any personal information.
  • The App contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, no social features, and no external links that could lead children away from the App.
  • The App does not connect to the internet and cannot transmit any information.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at privacy@routeworks.app. Since the App does not collect or transmit data, we will work with you to address any concerns.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all App data at any time by:

  • Uninstalling the App (removes all data permanently)
  • Clearing the App's data through your device's Settings > Apps > Math Dragons > Clear Data

No data is stored on our servers, so there is no server-side data to retain or delete.

8. Data Security

App data is stored in the application's private storage directory on your device, which is protected by the operating system's application sandboxing. Only the Math Dragons app can access this data. No data is transmitted over any network.

9. Advertising

The App contains no advertising of any kind. There are no ad SDKs, no banner ads, no video ads, no interstitial ads, and no sponsored content.

10. In-App Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases to unlock additional content. Two full games are included free, and a one-time purchase unlocks all games, levels, and cosmetics. Optional consumable currency packs are also available.

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We use RevenueCat to manage purchase entitlements. RevenueCat receives only an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipt data from the app stores — it does not collect names, emails, or other personal information.

All purchases require passing a parental verification gate (a multiplication problem designed to be too difficult for young children) before proceeding to the payment flow.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes to how we handle personal information, we will provide notice through the App or through other appropriate means.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
